We had the pleasure of meeting Sachin + Babi during their stay for Fresh Faces of Fashion benefitting The Suicide and Crisis Center.
We picked out favorites from their incredibly cool Spring collection at The Shak and took a few snap shots of the power couple outside. We couldn’t resist sharing this beautiful candid of Babi, wearing one of their Spring folksy pieces, a denim jacket with patchwork embroidery and metallic sequins.

My problem with Prashe is that I just want to be Marisa Berenson. 1969. Tan and liberated. And I don’t think that’s going to happen. Or maybe it might… inspired by the fabrics and the intricate craftsmanship seen at the 2013 collection, I’ve found myself optimistically planning Prashe looks for events we will be attending this Spring. The canary yellow sheer number would be quite the attention grabber… and hopefully tan and liberated will follow.
I’ve recently found myself obsessed with mid-century beauty. Think Avedon’s Bazaar years or the original Barbie. When we saw this girl, it immediately brought to mind the exaggerated lashes and blond ponytail that was so popular during the late 1950′s.
There’s a wintery chill in the air and I’ve just passed up the daily 11 AM carrot juice in favor of a hot buttery croissant and my second latte of the day. I turned on my Carla Bruni Pandora station, and I’m curled up with my laptop blissfully remembering every detail of the morning we just spent with Garance Doré.
