We had an amazing time touring the dark, vacant downstairs venues at Gilley’s and hanging with Jacob and Thomas, of the mesmerizing band Beacon, before their set at The Loft last week. It’s not everyday that you meet a couple of cool guys from Brooklyn that are as equally nice as they are extraordinarily talented. And we loved their rock n’ roll meets hip hop style. You must check these guys out!
The other night we found ourselves at the NYLO Hotel in the midst of a high energy Cointreau cocktail competition. Scot and I did not indulge into the Cointreau offerings, (we’re currently detoxing), but by the looks of things, it’s a guaranteed good time. I think we might be enjoying our souvenir bottle tonight.
