Boots & Bling

At Friday night’s Boots And Bling, benefitting the Vince Young Foundation, the garb was reminiscent of the Boulevard (SMU tailgating for those not familiar with the bubble), but even more opulent. Courtney Kerr played the part doused in turquoise and a playful zip-front minidress. Candice Young sported gold studs and cap toe boots. Other favorites were a white flare-skirt Hervé dress, a dramatic floor-skimming jean skirt, and a striking pair of just-over-the-knee fringe boots. You can never go wrong with Jerry Jeff Walker and the more events we can mix football and fashion, the happier Scot will be.

Simple Little Luxuries

We’re in love with these featherweight basic tees in not so basic fabrics! Lauren wears a striped metallic linen tank and viscose rounded v-neck tee from the new NM Luxury Essentials collection from Neiman Marcus at NorthPark.

Greer Garson Gala

Attending the Greer Garson Gala only made Scot and I’s addiction for Boardwalk Empire run even deeper. There were pretty dames by the dozen, lots of dice throwing, and the Dallas skyline from the Union Station balcony never looked so damn beautiful. What a night!

Stiletto Strut

The best of the over-the-top novelty stilettos appeared to be the theme at this year’s Stiletto Strut. And it never gets old documenting 500 women, stiletto stomping, around the block of Neiman Marcus downtown in the name of The Family Place. Our personal favorite: the white metal curlycue birdcage heels!

Fuchsia And Vreeland Red

We always love seeing Jane and Judy Aldridge. They are truly two of Dallas’ most creative. Not only do they have an eye for fashion, style, and incredible Cristóbal Balenciaga worthy silhouettes, but they are amazing interior designers. I would love for them to decorate our place! (And I take a lot of pride in our decor already.)

Oh! Don’t you just love Jane’s Prada smoking stilettos. I couldn’t wait to see what both of them would be wearing and when we walked into Neimans, I saw Jane’s exciting combination of fuchsia and Vreeland (come see it with us) red… yes, that is exciting… and it was a Springy departure from her usual statuesque black layers, which is one of my favorite evolved personal styles in blogger history. Is this way over your head?

We heart you, Jane and Judy!
