Through beautiful imagery, StyleSheet tells the exciting story of Dallas fashion.Sponsored by The Plaza at Preston Center
The second our eyes glanced over Nikki Duong Koenig, as she sauntered to her seat at The Pin Show, we knew this chic was the real deal. She was carrying her new highly-coveted, two hand Cykochik clutch, which vaguely reminded us of the iconic silhouettes and bold colors of Charlotte Olympia. And we like that. This new collection was in collaboration with Dallas artist Kevin Obregon and all of the handbags are animal and eco-friendly. And based on her cool designs and edgy style, it wasn’t a huge surprise to us that she is so passionate about a community of artists, artisans, and art patrons.
Scot has amassed quite a beautiful collection of vintage tie clips. And when we were out shooting, we discovered a treasure trove of them at Zola’s Everyday Vintage in the Bishop Arts District. The best ones being from the 1940′s and 50′s. So, of course, we left with several pieces and, as we were leaving, I happened to find the single greatest pair of pastel two-toned sunglasses, à la Taylor Tomasi Hill, that came home with us also.
