If you’ve been searching for mystery, and maybe even a little romance, hopefully you made it to the House Of Plates midsummer night swim party. The location was kept secret and only a trail of dimly lit candles led you to the hidden action that apparently lasted until the sun came up. BYOB = really cool hipsters carrying really cool retro cans of beer. And there was an assortment of delectable backyard offerings including delicious smoked brisket and summer fruits soaked in [lots of] whiskey.
If only we could do this every Friday night…
until then, here’s the music mix so we can dream. Enjoy.
Is the sun ever going to come out? And on that note, and the fact that we are already planning our upcoming September fashion week madness, we just had to share these photos of all of our favorite Dallasites we ran into during the AW13 shows in New York. We’re amazed just how many incredibly cool people call Dallas home and are movers and shakers within the fashion industry. Enjoy!

So it seems that jewelry is on my brain this week. Maybe it’s the dreary weather that sends my mind searching for something that sparkles…
Which brings me to the enormous amount of requests I’ve received recently about my NicSal necklace I’ve been wearing around Dallas.
Spikes, crystals, and fringe. Need I say more?
