Whether it was Charlotte Dellal’s romantic half-moon manicure, MAC Russian red lips, or the fact that she’s well-versed in dinosaurs, we left our little visit completely star struck! Never mind that she’s the genius behind the iconic silhouetted designs we know and love as Charlotte Olympia.

We chatted about her Cosmic Collection of Birthday Shoes in which she revealed, ‘I’m a Gemini, but with Virgo feet.’ She draws most of her inspiration from nostalgia, Rita Hayworth, and American culture during the ’40s and ’50s.

On her upcoming collection she simply hinted, in her glamorous British accent, ‘it’s the bit more bubblegum.’ How we can’t wait!

Forty Five Ten hosted a very cool welcoming soirée for Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren, along with their incredible Viktor & Rolf Fall/Winter 2013 trunk show. Known for their avant-garde conceptual fashion, this particular Viktor & Rolf collection was slightly more accessible even with the fanciful ruffles, lacy frayed details, and overstated bows. You don’t want to miss this collection, which Dallas folk will surely love.

We had the pleasure of meeting Sachin + Babi during their stay for Fresh Faces of Fashion benefitting The Suicide and Crisis Center.

We picked out favorites from their incredibly cool Spring collection at The Shak and took a few snap shots of the power couple outside. We couldn’t resist sharing this beautiful candid of Babi, wearing one of their Spring folksy pieces, a denim jacket with patchwork embroidery and metallic sequins.

The Danish beauty Anine Bing was in town for her trunk show at Elements, along with two of our favorite bloggers Jane and Judy Aldridge, and one of the best-dressed scenes in Dallas. Highlights from the collection included her must-have biker jackets, stacks of gorgeous arm candy, and her staple studded ankle boots. We were so excited to finally get the chance to hang out with her!

We’re in love! Victoria Beckham‘s Spring 2013 collection was filled with a color palette of primarily white, black, and orange in a combination of beautiful georgettes, lace, and chiffon. We saw nonchalant flirty peek-a-boo bras and, of course, her sexy signature zip-back dresses.

Remember that photo of Mischa Barton sporting sun-kissed legs and a beautiful lace minidress a few years back? Well, she was wearing Magda Berliner. And I need all of her designs! Every girl needs at least one lace dress for her wardrobe. Isn’t it a mandatory staple?

Scot and I had the wonderful opportunity of meeting Magda when she was visiting V.O.D. Boutique and admiring the assortment of lace confections she brought with her. She’s such an amazing talent and we can’t wait to get back to V.O.D. before all those beautiful lace pieces are gone.
